Purpose

Nu2 menu to Bs Explorer convert and manage - the program for converting from format Nu2menu, creations and editing of files of a configuration of the menu of program Bs Explorer (shells for Windows PE).
the New version supports all opportunities of last assembly Bs Explorer and allows to create beforehand a cache of icons, that considerably accelerates loading the shell and saves resources at a plenty of icons in the menu. As, the program automatically deletes unused icons and duplicates of icons with correction of a file of the menu.

In comparison with the previous versions in the program the following changes and additions have been made:

Appearance

The program will consist of a line of the menu and toolbar for a call of all functions and two panels. The left panel displays an edited tree of the menu, and right - the editor of properties of the chosen item of the menu.

Attention! For correct jobs of the program the folder with assembly BartPE (as files, instead of a iso-image is necessary!). Therefore, before the beginning of job create compilation of yours BartPE (creation of an image iso is not necessary). The program allows to work in three modes:

To convert files of a configuration xml Nu2 menu.
To edit ready files BsExplorer the menu
To create file BsExplorer the menu from all resolved plug-ins in a folder of plug-ins Pe builder ` and

Choice of a root folder

Before the beginning of job for correct display of icons and an opportunity of automatic transformation of absolute ways in relative it is necessary to choose a root folder (i.e. where ready assembly BartPE lays). For this purpose it is necessary to press the button

and to choose a folder with assembly. If you will not make it beforehand it will be offered to you to choose a root folder at loading a file of the menu or before a choice of a folder of plug-ins. Adjustment is saved and further the choice is necessary only at change of a site of assembly.

To load a file, press the button

and in the appeared dialogue choose the necessary file. After acknowledgement(confirmation) of a choice by the button, the file will be loaded and automatically converted. The menu will be displayed in the left panel, and his items will be editable.
Attention! By virtue of a difference in ideology of construction of programs and not complete support of all functions Nu2 the menu in BsExplorer I do not guarantee correct transformation of difficult designs Nu2 menu! Probably, it will be corrected in the following versions of the program.

To load a file, press the button

and in the appeared dialogue choose the necessary file. After confirmation of a choice by the button, the file will be loaded. The menu will be displayed in the left panel, and his items will be editable.

After loading you can edit a file of the menu in a text kind. For this purpose press the button

After editing press "OK", dialogue will be closed and a tree of the menu reload in view of brought changes. Attention! are close. At mistakes in syntax some items of the menu can be deformed or lost.

Preservation of a file of menu BsExplorer.

To save a file, press the button

and in the appeared dialogue enter a name of a file. After confirmation of a choice by the button, the file will be saved. Further, for preservation of a file with the same name without search use the button

Editing of the menu

In the right panel choose the necessary item of the menu and allocate it by means of the index of the mouse. All his(its) properties will be reflected in the right panel. Edit necessary properties in corresponding fields of editing of properties.

For a call of dialogue of a choice of an executed file press about the editor the button "..." After a choice of a file the way will be automatically transformed in relative from a root folder.
For a choice of an icon from a file press about the editor of a name of a file of an icon the button "...". Standard dialogue windows for a choice of an icon will be removed:

After a choice of a file the way will be automatically transformed in relative from a root folder. Number(room) of an icon as will be automatically changed on chosen.
By pressing the button "..." About the editor of number of an icon in a file the same dialogue will be deduced(removed), and after his(its) closing a name of an icon its number will be automatically changed on chosen.
If the field of a name of an icon is empty, by pressing the button "..." About the editor of number of an icon it will be offered to choose an icon from a cache.

Choose the necessary icon and confirm a choice with button " OK ". You as can add an icon in a cache or replace any of icons of a cache.
Attention! If you replace an icon she will change in all ocurrences in the menu i.e. if you have replaced an icon š73, and on not. Some items the picture will change at once in all refer. If you do not want it, simply add a new icon in a cache and choose her! Unused icons and takes will be removed from a cache automatically at preservation.
Attention! If you use old version BS Explorer without support of a cache of icons the cache will not be used and the built - in icons with number more than 12 will not be displayed!

For change about following items of the menu and their hierarchy use dragging by a mousy.

For addition and removal of items of the menu use pop-up the contextual menu of a tree.

Adjustments of the program

Confirm before save chages menu item - oconfirm changes at transition from the edited item of the menu to another. At the removed tick of change are accepted without search.
Convert to new-style bs-menu before save - to transform the menu to new style and to save a cache of icons. If at you old version BS Explorer without support of a cache of icons the cache will not be used and the built - in icons with number more than 12 will not be displayed. In it of a case remove a tick. For the new version - establish!

Decision of problems with 32bit icons

New version BS Explorer supports 32bit (XP-Style) icons. The program normally displays icons at any depth of color without use of a cache. If the cache for display of icons without auras in your system Windows PE depth of color should be established too 32bit is used. If it is impossible, arrive as follows:
Before start of the program establish on the system 16 or 24 bit depth of color.
Create icons cashes anew - i.e. take the file of a configuration which were not converted to a new format.
If you have not saved the old version of a file simply replace all incorrectly displayed icons in a cache through the button "Replace icon" in dialogue of a choice of an icon from a cache.
Save the edited file and return old adjustments of the system back.

It is Possible, in the following version of the program, I shall solve this problem creation of miscellaneous cashes for 32 digit colors and for other modes.
